The ambassador said that the SCO meeting has been held in Uzbekistan since September 15 this year.

He said member countries will also talk about establishing industrial zones and in this regard, the first industrial zone in SCO countries will be established in the city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
He said that for the first time, discussions on promoting digital transformation and poverty alleviation in member countries will be made available to member countries to benefit from the experiences of others.
The Ambassador said that poverty eradication and economic development will be at the center of this conference, which will provide an opportunity for mutual cooperation and dialogue among member countries.
He expressed hope that Pakistani Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif would attend SCO conferences exclusively.
The Uzbek ambassador said that Pakistan and Uzbekistan have a very important role to play in the trade and economic integration of SCO member countries, which will usher in a new era of economic integration in all member countries. .
He said SCO member countries could play a key role in global and regional economic and trade integration in the current scenario.

He added that the two countries used to have online discussions in this regard, in which the discussion process on tariff rationalization continues.
He said that at that time, mutual trade barriers and customs issues were major problems in the two countries, and to solve these problems, the two countries were working on a mechanism.
