ABU DHABI: Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Nevin Gamea has underlined that the industrial partnership for sustainable economic growth between the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan includes several projects which have been categorized into three phases , including projects to be carried out urgently, medium -long-term projects, and a group of projects related to the long-term period.

In his interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Gamea said: “The partnership is the fruit of the fraternal meeting between the President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi , and King Abdullah II of Jordan in Cairo Work has been carried out in accordance with the directives, to achieve an economic partnership that brings together the three countries.

She indicated that the partnership is based on fraternal relations linking the three countries. The partnership translates these strategic relationships into concrete work based on strong ties. It supports compatibility between countries, towards qualitative strategic projects with economic returns for the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan.

She indicated that under the partnership, Egypt would manage several strategic sectors, including fertilizers, petrochemicals and foodstuffs, in addition to pharmaceuticals and textiles, which are sectors that will see direct interaction with the parties. UAE stakeholders.

The Egyptian Minister of Commerce and Industry stressed that there is a consensus in the economic vision of the three countries, especially since the partnership will lead to good economic returns and strengthen mutual investments.
